Bio:
Having been interested in music and the possibilities of sound for most of my life, I embarked on a musical journey of my own after starting graduate school. I had originally wanted to be a novelist but after purchasing a synthesizer in 1991, I found that I put sounds and notes together better than words so began my own musical exploration. Lately I find that, rather than composing original material, I enjoy combining and mangling other sound sources to create new and original works, something I had done as a teenager with record players and cassette recorders.

The contribution to 3m33s which I have put forth is a simple but drony concept, record the sound of a vacuum cleaner and then put it through paulstretch, a utility that I've been experimenting around with quite frequently lately.

I am honored to be a part of this project and hope to contribute to other releases on the label as the opportunity presents itself.
